About Us We are Linda and Charles Micallef – The Rock and Roll Sweethearts.. Why? Because we met each other at dance lessons, liked what we saw, liked dancing with each other, and got married. As simple as that. We are not members of any dance club. We are Independent. Our first dance lessons were with one of Australia's top Rock-a-Billy teachers – Ray and Sandy Ivory from the Sunshine Coast Rockers. Ray and Sandy taught us the moves and we developed to our own style. Not like any other. We enjoy our dancing, and we love the Rock and Roll scene and we love the people we meet along the road of Rock and Roll Dance Land. And yes, we have entered competitions, where we have won several placings. We don't compete any more but we still continue to dance and enjoy it. Our Dance Shop started in the year 2000 – at Wintersun – what a time we had and how popular were our garments!!!!! Since that time, we have continued to increase the stock, making the outfits and marketing them at dances. We pack up our van and head off every weekend to a dance run by various Dance Clubs and Organizations. We are regulars at; Cheyenne Promotions, Kensington Victoria Jailhouse Rockers, Bendigo, Victoria Seymour Rock & Roll Club, Seymour, Victoria Hooked on Roll, Morwell, Victoria Boulders Rock n' Roll Melbourne Victoria. Personal Information: Charles Micallef is of Maltese birth, living the past 45 + years in Australia. He has lived most of his life in Melbourne, Victoria, but spend a lot of time around Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast and the Gold Coast. (Some 17 years). He's bald (by choice) and his passion is to "dance till he drops". He loves swing and old time music. He is the contact person in our Shoe Shop.   Linda Micallef is a "true blue" Aussie, reining from sunny Far North Queensland. Dancing all her life. Her mother and father were excellent dancers in their time and they took their children with them, it was natural for Linda to follow in their footsteps. Dancing in public since her very young years, with her sister, doing jitterbug and rock and roll.
